3D scanning is a powerful tool for you to leverage during your next project.
In this module/example taken directly from the 3D Modeling & CAD for Motorsport course, Connor is going to explain what 3D scanning is, why you might want to care about it and provides some tips to get the most out of a tool that you possibly even already own.
It wasn't long ago that 3D scanning was only done by big budget race teams. With 3D scanning via smartphones getting better, we have reached a point where while QUALITY commercial tools are still far more accurate, our lower accuracy (and priced!) phone is potenailly good enough for a large number of use cases.
