Engine sealant, MoTeC display creator and cleaning engine parts are a few of the topics we touch on in this 'Today At HPA' [UPDATE].
Are you guessing where and how much engine sealant to use? Don't! Just like most people over tighten small bolts and under tighten large bolts when left to do it by feel alone, using excess sealant is the common go-to mistake. I mean more is always better right! As Andre covers, there is an easy way to know where to apply your sealant and how much, and it's via your workshop manual which also holds so much more information that you should never try and guess.
Also covered is our MoTeC C1212 giveaway, and the use of MoTeC's Display Creator to make a custom layout for the SR20VE swapped Toyota 86 race car. The sky is the limit when it comes to which of your data streams you want to display, when and how, in order to make sure for those rare times a driver does glance down, they can get the information they want easily. The little things all add up!
Lastly, we had the pleasure of chatting to DP and Peter from Speed Academy in one of our most recent podcasts, and they shared some of their wisdom around engine swaps, what getter older and a little more refined means for a 'car guy', and some insight into what prompted them to make a living from YouTube content.
