Do Different Piston DESIGNS Even Matter?

Cracked pistons close to dramatic failure, JE and CP piston comparison, K swapped CRX update and more!

A quick routine teardown check and refresh on the SR86, a SR20VET swapped Toyota GT86, uncovered some pretty troubling cracks in our pistons which gives Andre a good opportunity to compare some different piston design considerations between a since updated CP design and JE's FSR offerings for the SR20VET.

Also in this update we take a quick look at how the KRX, a Honda K20 swapped CRX build, is getting in with some subframe upgrades and component repositioning on the table. With only 7 weeks to go till the season starts if we want to get Ben behind the wheel, it's getting tight! Andre also touches on how light weight isn't also good when it comes to the paper thin CRX and the forces put on it while racing on slicks vs what it would ever see in a street application, which is what Honda built it for.

The subframe project also gives us an opportunity to add some more examples to the Practical TIG Welding and CAD For Motorsport courses for you guys, which of course are free additions for those that already own the courses.
