Layered stainless exhaust wrap, cooling system update and more in this 'Today at HPA' update.
Due to the flat floor being fitted, our engine bay temps issues have been amplified as anticipated and some extra heat insulation has been employed to help combat this. With the help of PR Technology over the ditch (Australia), our Sinco Customs manifold and downpipe have a layered stainless heat shield have a multi layered setup as Andre explains. PRtech Racing is well known for the RP968 time attack build which at the time of posting holds the World Time Attack Challenge lap record around Sydney Motorsport Park with the help of Elmer Racings Thor engine. Both car and engine have been covered on the channel before.
From there we dive into some of the cooling system updates with some parts still being 'hangovers' from the original V8 conversion that was done before we purchased the car, namely a PWR Advanced Cooling Technology radiator core.
As well as that the Izze–Racing IR brake temp sensors have been fitted along with some changes to the front brake setup, hopefully all setup in time for the first round of the racing season (spoiler from the future, they were, worked awesome).
