MaxxECU Introduction | MTune Software

Let's learn how to make input, output and tuning changes using the MaxxECU MTune tuning software platform.

This is an introductory look at the MaxxECU Race ECU and their MTune software interface. Most of what you're going to see today is going to work, irrespective of which particular MaxxECU you're interested in.
You can find a complete worked example in the Practical Standalone Tuning course that goes much deeper into how to tune using this and various other platforms. However, this will still give you a solid look into the MaxxECU platform.

We're using HPA's staff project car, a B18C swapped Honda City club racer, for this example, but the knowledge is not limited to just this one vehicle at all. The vehicle is also equipped with a MaxxECU PDM20, covered in another lesson that HPA members can access in their webinar archive.
