What Is Blowby? Do I NEED A Catch Can? | R35 GTR [TECH NUGGET]

What is blow-by? If your catch can is full is it game over for your engine? Why do you even need a catch can?!

Andre runs us through these questions via the setup on an English Racing-built R35 GTR from this year's Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack. We see this particular installation has the catch can in the boot with a simple drain fitting so that in the event of a catastrophe no oil will end up going under the tyres, and when everything is running as it should the team can quickly and easily empty the setup between runs.
