Generative design is a fast developing feature across a range of CAD and standalone software platforms. Great. But what IS generative design?
In this module, just 1 of over 60 in the '3D Modeling & CAD for Motorsport' course, Connor takes us through an explanation of what generative design is and what it can do for us in the autosport/motorsport world. Note this is not a step by step guide on how to use generative design, it is an introduction to the topic.
Using Fusion360 for the example we also take a quick look at the 'Automated Modelling' feature and compare it to our generative design result, noting it won't always be the same, they are very different tools.
