This car has been the primary obsession of mine for nearly 10 years, and the mod list is testament to that.

Engine mods: Mahle powerpak pistons, IE forged con rods, large port AEB cyl head with Ferrea valves, Supertech springs & retainers, IE race cams, Full-race T4 twin scroll turbo manifold, Borla catback, .92 a/r EFR 8474 turbo with Turbosmart twin port IWG actuator, 4 port MAC valve, Tial Q BOV, 82mm Bosch throttle body, IE -8an fuel rail, IE surge tank with twin AEM 400's, Walbro 450 in tank pump, custom -8an fuel lines, Aeromotive -8an AFPR, Snow Performance multi pump relay module (until I get a PDM), Injector Dynamics F750 fuel filtration system, Evolution Racewerks competition FMIC, P-Motorsport intake manifold, Newsouth phenolic spacer, Vibrant -10an catch can, FIC 1200cc injectors (for now), Fluidampr, IE manual timing belt tensioner, IE billet timing gear, IE adjustable cam pulley, Stern motor mounts, and probably more that I can't recall.

Software & additional sensors: Ignitron ECU, turbo RPM, EGT, ethanol content, oil pressure, and an AEM MAP sensor in the manifold for speed density tuning.

Driveline: 01E 6mt (originally from a C5 A6) built with JHM carbon synchros, upgraded shift collar, 4:1 center diff, Ringer Racing 240mm clutch & lightweight flywheel, JHM "trio" short shifter kit, JHM limited slip rear diff, Apikol rear diff mount, 034 trans mount, stainless braided clutch slave hose

Suspension / brakes: Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, Verkline tubular front subframe, Meyle HD front & rear control arms + tie rod ends, 034 adjustable rear sway bar, 034 front & rear sway bar end links, Brembo 17z front calipers, B7 S4 rear calipers, Rotorlab 330mm front rotors & 300mm rears, stainless braided hoses, Hawk HPS 5.0 pads

Interior: platinum heated Recaro seats from a B6 S4 dyed tan to match my interior, Kenwood touchscreen radio, Kenwood 1800 watt amp, 2x 12" Alpine type S subs, B7 center console swap, dash mounted cup holder replaced with euro card tray & custom buttons, oCarbon carbon fiber trim, ECS Tuning vent mounted boost gauge, CJM Industries dual gauge pod, Full-race turbo speed + oil pressure gauge, Prosport EVO fuel pressure gauge, custom billet stainless steel shift knob, hardwired AC/DC inverter, and battery relocated to the trunk in a custom compartment where the stock spare wheel was kept

The short term goal is to get a HP8440 PDM from rywire, and convert the majority of my electronics to run thru the PDM.

The long term goal is to swap the engine to a fully built BCY 4.2T from a C5 RS6, and run that on a different standalone. I already have the 4.2T, and I'm in the process of building that. I have Pauter forged con rods, and cylinder heads from a D2 A8 4.2 40v. These 4.2's use a belt driven timing system & port injection, so they aren't susceptible to the same timing issues that plague the chain driven B6 & B7 S4's, and fueling upgrades are easy & cheap compared to the later direct injected 4.2's.
