my colt evo 4g63 engine is doing 9.1 in 1/4 mile @264km @ 3 bar of boost turbo is pt6870 BB , RPM 9500 , COMPRESSION RATIO 11.5 , PURE ETHANOL . 870WHP MAINLINE DYNO
PLANE IS TO GO 8.5 SEC 1/4 MILE SO IM THINKING FOR A NEW BUILD WITH 12.5 COMPRESSION AND A PT7685 TURBO SO YOU THINK THIS NEW BUILD CAN DO IT , SAME BOOST 3 BAR .
AND ANY RECOMMENDATION FOR CLEARANCES FOR SUCH A BUILD
ANY ADVICE IS HIGHLY APPROPRIATED

The more boost you want to apply the lower CR should be. I would not recommend to raise CR any higher than 11.5.
What kind of clearance are you talking about?
