Hello everyone.
I'm evaluating the idea to upgrade to a Sard ITB kit: https://www.sard.co.jp/parts/products/intake/4throttlekit_zn6c6/
However, don't know it this solution could have benefit on my NA FA20 boxer engine build, with forged conrods, alluminium pistons, Toda Racing camshafts, dual valve springs, rocker arms reinforcement, new valves and Toda Racing big throttle body (72 mm). It revs to 8200 rpm.
I recently see the Keiichi Tsuchiya video on his GT86 with modified Sard kit with trumpet and the sound is amazing! Probably I will retain the tank to use the intake system to pump fresh air on the engine (and probably a possible future upgrade to a centrifugal supercharger).
Excluding the economic issue, could ITB provide and increase both in throttle response and some gains in torque?
