Had shop pull the my engine to rebuild. They got a engine from salvage, ended up being an 07. The head was rebuilt, the 07 block had busted head bolts, so they got another engine which was a 05. The end result is and 05 block, crank, new seals and rings on the 07 pistons. The head again rebuilt all, used the 07 camshaft. Also upgraded to 3" exhaust. When it gets to temp it won't restart windows ether or sitting cause engine bay is (to me anyway) extremely hot. But I did my own research after and found out the 05 has 10.1 and the 07 has 13.1 compression. Now they are saying my exhaust upgrade and it's needs retuned to the 07. That is why I'm here cause I couldn't find someone to tune it to the 07. Any ideas if the compression change is the actual problem? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

A change in compression from 10:1 to 13:1 would require retuning.
