Hey guys,
I was curious about the batch fire injection operation at high rpm/ high load for a staged port injection. I assume a single injector drive can fire all the injectors at the same time in batch firing.
This works in favour of the availability of the injector drives in an ECU and I think would be a great project for introducing staged injection in an Engine for improved mixing and performance at high RPM.
My question pertains to the operating characteristics of batch firing of port injectors at high RPM?
The problem is at high RPM you lose a lot of injection time due to the injector latency, you would want to be at least semi sequential I think.
