Choosing a Knock Tool (link knockblock G4 VS TN Knock Monitor Pro V4)

I'm just breaking into tunning and I'm focusing on HP TUNER. I have a few test vehicles and I already have a MPVI3, AEM Wideband, and a good laptop. I also have already started HPA courses and TTS courses. I'm now looking at purchasing a mid range knock sensor/tool.

I wanted to invest in a Plex V2 or V3, but can seem to find one in my budget or for sale in the US. With this in mind I've started looking at the Link Knockblock G4 and the TUNERNerds Knock Monitor Pro V4 (most likely the elite+ kit).

I'm leaning towards the TN Knock Monitor Pro for it's data logging ability, it's independent screen, and extra features. The majority of test vehicles are NA GM vehicles, but I do want to start getting a grasp on Knock and hearing and seeing what right looks like prior to me moving on to boosted vehicles. Any advice will be appreciated. I looked through the forms and couldn't find an updated or complete comparison between the two so hopefully this will help others as well.

I will be using the knock tool for other projects separately from HP tunners at some point later in the future for a few drag bike projects as well (these will be Turbo Nitrous bikes).

Like many topics about electronics, some things do change over time, but there's still a bunch of good info here.

I've read through multiple threads/forms and none of them so far have been able to answer my specific question. There are plenty reviewing and discussing each device individually (well the older models). Unfortunately this doesn't answer my question and they don't seen to compare the current models. If you have a link or can point me towards a thread that does I'll definitely appreciate it.
