Is there a way to convert this to ltrs per min or gallons per hour?
Hey Andrew, yes you sure can. You'll need to know that there are 3.8 litres in a gallon and obviously 60 minutes in an hour. So in this case if we had 1 litre per minute, we would need to divide by 3.8 to convert to gallons per minute (in this case 1 / 3.8 = 0.26 gallons per minute) and then multiply by 60 to convert from gallons per min to gallons per hour (0.26 * 60 = 15.9 gallons per hour).
I'm going to let you in on a little secret that's going to save you plenty of time - If you want to change a unit, just type it in to google. For example the search term 'convert litres per minute to gallons per hour' will conveniently give you this result: https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=litres+per+minutes+to+gallons+per+hour&oq=litres+per+minutes+to+gallons+per+hour&aqs=chrome..69i57j6.7693j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
You're welcome :)
And if your using UK Imperial Gallons, there are 4.54609 litres :)
Nice addition Craig :) My go-to us US gallons but that doesn't mean it's universal.
