The angle of the injector helps determine the size of the fuel film on the port walls, but what role does valve angle play in this? Or is it more the port ramp down into the valve, not so much the angle of the valve itself?
I'm sorry I haven't gotten deep enough into engine design to give you a solid answer. While I have no doubt valve angle could be a contributing factor to the fuel film, I'd also take a guess that it's not the most relevant one. Injector spray pattern and spray angle are probably the more fundamental drivers here.
