I have an 89 Ford Mustang and it has the 2 wire PWM idle air control valve. I'm tuning using a Megasquirt PNP3 with Tuner Studio. In the section where it asks for frequency I chose 75 Hz because if I chose other settings it will make all sorts of weird vibration buzzing sounds, it sounds really weird. The only setting that it seems sound ok is on 75Hz. How do I know this is the right setting? Am I overthinking this or is there a special procedure to find out what the Hz is supposed to be?

I would use an oscilloscope to measure the factory valve. A quick google reveals that some of the Ford IAC valves use 300 hz.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
