Morning Guys,
I'm at the very last stage of wiring the in-car parts of my harness back together and I've been stewing over how to wire in the key barrel trigger for my EFI harness. Attached is the screen shot of the OG wiring diagram for my car (1986 VL Commodore)
I have a set of 3 relays that are wired on a common trigger which cover all of the power requirements for my harness - but I cant picture in my head which is should splice into for these relays.
My Thoughts was to splice into the 3A & 3B; as it provides power during ON and START. Would this be correct?
I'm trying out using a bussed DT connector to allow for easy expansion of this in future for other components that will need the same trigger (PMU16)
Yes. If you decide to use ACC for anything, bear in mind it isn't powered in the START position - it's fine for most other things, though.
Thanks for your advice here Gord. I also note I accidently put this into the wrong section :\
