On the diagnostic side, we often look for the current hump as a sign of the needle moving on an injector (red trace at about 1.2ms: https://www.picoauto.com/images/uploads/agt/_lrg/gt388-example-waveform-02.png). Have you ever used this to give the deadtime?
no, but it would be interesting to correlate that to the published injector dead-times for a given injector.
