Hi,

I just watched the video about injector deadtimes.

I also have the ID1000 injectors. When choosing the deadtime/offset from the table, I have to select the fuel pressure.

here my question:

Which fuel pressure do I have to pay attention to:

a) engine running idle

b) engine off (or engine running idle and taking off the hose from intake manifold to fuel pressure regulator

because here is a difference of about 8-10 psi

Thanx alot!!

Deadtimes are only relevant to "differential fuel pressure" or in other words fuel rail gauge pressure - manifold gauge pressure. So "b" (engine off) would give you the correct result as manifold gauge pressure is zero when the engine is off.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
