hi

my question here is how much is the high limits for the Intake Air Temperature

ive my own car reach 65 degrees IAT and i know it is high, but in this case do i have to pull some fuel or timing ?

Thanks

There isn't strictly a limit as such, however you'll find that as the temp increases the engine performance drops off since hot air is less dense. Often you'll need to richen the mixture and/or retard the timing to help prevent knock as IAT increases but it will depend on the specific engine and the fuel you're running. 65 deg C is very high though and will definitely be costing you power. I'll assume you're turbocharged and if so I'd be looking at a better IC option. A good intercooler should be able to get your IAT within about 15-20 deg of ambient.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
