Hi, I'm new. I was wondering if you could explain to me after you see this knockout example, at which point in the table you would remove the ignition advance. rpm, kpa, throttle%. ???

When knock occurs we need to find what cell in the ignition table the knock was occurring in and we would remove timing from this cell. The load axis is most often going to be inlet manifold pressure, however in some engines it may be TPS. Normally we would also tend to remove timing from the surrounding cells to ensure the table values are smooth.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
