I am slowly working through the efi videos at the moment, this may actually be answerd later on but its a question I got when watching one of the videos about the different sensors.
In the video it mentioned the pros/cons of each sensor, however I am trying to relate this to my current project, a mazda 2.3 disi turbo, this engine uses both a hot wire MAF and a MAP sensor, does anyone know generaly how an ecu uses both of these, or anyone have a more specific answer towards this platform? does the ecu do some magical voodo (aka complicated table look up and calculations) to combine these for the load target?
MAF for air mass calculation.
Boost control somewhat uses both unless you're using code that turns it into being just MAP based. I do the conversion when I tune Mazdaspeed 3/6 with COBB.
