In my ecu a Microsquirt, in the manual explain that in order to drive a idle valve i need to add a pull up resistor.

But problem is Microsquirt doesn't have a digital pullup input so i need to add this by myself, on the idle valve PIN.

My question is: this can be done regardless the wiring position?

What i mean is, the pull up needs to be wired in the sensor, or i can add it for example in a PNP harness close to the ECU?

This will be much easier to fit inside a harness, instead of modifying each time the connector PIN each time.

Hello a pull up resistor can be added to a loom in any position that suits you
