Hi, I know a car that has been modified and the catalytic converter is after the first and second o2 sensors. The lambda commanded vs the actual lambda IS WAY FAR AWAY where it should be; where talking about Lambda comanded 1 vs actual lambda .70 and .60 AT IDLE, and that's not normal. Even thought, the car has 2 DTC; 1 of the catalytic efficiency below threshold, and the second about the coolant temp that is below specs. The owner of the car is going to buy the thermostat and buy a injectors cleaner to clean the system. My question is, how I'm going to calibrate the computer to the fuel trims it suppose to read because, right now the fuel trims (both STFT and LTFT) are in -20, and I'm trapped in what I must do!
Hey. I had a similar issue. Turns out my map sensor calibration was missing a spot for 0 volts so it was reading the minimum value in the table which was about -55kpa gauge. It was fueling like I had -55kpa of manifold pressure when in reality I had something closer to -70-80. Not sure what the setup is but check what you are reading for your map/maf.
ok, thanks for the help!
