I am using the Binder 712 connectors to connect some linear potentiometers. They are solder on connectors. If anyone has worked with them, do you backfill the connectors with epoxy or silicone? If so how?
I have done several hundred Binder 712 and 719 connections and have never filled the back of them. If I was going to do that, I would probably use a syringe to inject mixed epoxy before screwing the back on, then screw down the strain relief.
Thanks David, so the strain relief is enough?
Yes.
