Hi there,

As per title, I’m struggling to depin this connector which is used for camshaft position sensors on a Subaru EJ engine harness I’m working on. The exact connector is this one: [url=https://www.corsa-technic.com/item.php?item_id=816&page=g&category_id=126]https://www.corsa-technic.com/item.php?item_id=816&page=g&category_id=126

Specifically I am having difficulty removing the rear lock. I’ve attached a couple photos.

I was able to remove one lock by jamming a Deustch wedge lock removal tool in between the connector housing and one end of the brown lock then leveraging it up and out, but this felt a bit wrong… though I don’t see another way!

Appreciate any input on the matter!

Looks like my photos didn’t upload!

It seems like something would happen with those two slots at the back. I'm guessing a tool squeezes in there to release a latch. Or maybe it's to allow the body to flex wider allowing the lock to be removed.

I suppose once you destroy one, you'll see how it works.

I think this is the case. As I mentioned I was able to remove the rear lock but it seemed more brutish than I thought was appropriate… I guess not!

I depinned some last week, they do require some force to get the rear lock out! But it's possible to remove it without breaking anything, I guess you need to be cautiously brutish hahaha!
