Hi I am after a way to get a good 12v supply for my new fuel pump (walbro 450) I have a new relay triggered from the factory wiring and a larger wire all the way back to the tank.
My question is can I connect a new supply wire to the starter high current supply as this is very out of the way and wont be seen? I don't really want a random wire hanging off the battery positive terminal if I can avoid it.
Is this common, are there any down sides to doing this, such as during starting. What other options do people normally do?
That would be fine - just make sure its got a fuse somewhere close to the supply point.
