Hi guys, I have a wiring specialties harness that has been modified to suit a VQ30DET swapped 350z.

The harness loom which come on the harness is a braided type. I thought I was smart by reusing the factory grommet and gluing it back together (had to split to facilitate putting aftermarket harness in). The aftermarket loom is braided type, and due to being under the windscreen (check photo attached) it's allowing water to wick down the wires straight to the ecu plug.

What is the best way to seal this? I was thinking of maybe a bulk head connector which is waterproof but is there an easier way?

Thank you.

Ouch! I would probably run those wires as parallel as possible, then get some black silicon RTV and try to fill / bridge the hole in the grommet. Maybe back it up on the inside with some silicon tape.

Good Luck!
