and how to crimp 1 wire to multiple wires like 0v5 1 wire from ecu to 4 to 5 wire of different sensors.

You use a splice -- sometimes called a butt splice (wires exit from each end), or I use the shorter ones and send all the wires out the same end (easier to hold & crimp), and I can cover with adhesive-lined shrink after crimping.

Here is an example of the parts I use:

Sorry to hijack but how to splice reliably is a question I've been meaning to ask.

Does anyone here uses the Deutsch DT Bussed Receptacles? I've been thinking about trying them. It may be a bit of a clunky way to splice but they look like an easy way to do it if you don't have the skills and want something reliable.

I've never used those, but sometimes I think that would be handy for power & ground. Lots of time, when I have to go back into a harness to add an additional sensor, CAN connection, etc.

Faisal - We do have a splicing section in the fundamentals course, but the video isnt up yet. We're working on it, and it'll be available in the next couple of days. Cheers.

Looking forward for that video olso

Promise it wont be far away! Our videographer is on the way back from shooting a heap of new content at pikes peak, he'll jump all over it when he walks in the door :-).

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
