I am working on a ski-doo renegade 900ace turbo snowmobile. Hooked up a motec m150. The ignition coils are working and getting 12v but not getting spark. I have these faults

1.ignition output diagnostic- current off. Engine

2. Engine speed reference state - missing

Thank you guys !

It looks like you have a setup issue with your reference input. I'm not familiar with this engine so I can't tell you how it should be setup. Do you know if the sensor is VR or hall? Have you tried running an input capture to see what the actual input looks like? Is there a synchronisation input on the engine?

It's a hall effect sensor. We are getting engine synchronization voltage when we crank it up.

This is the input capture we obtained .

Its too bad you created two topics with the same name, I think there were useful comments in the other one (that I don't think you can access now.). Perhaps someone at HPA can re-name the topic so both are visible.

From your input capture, you can see that the crank sensor (Engine Speed Reference) isn't configured correctly as there is no signal produced. Since you have a hall sensor, your "Engine Speed Pin Pullup Control" should be ON, not OFF as shown in your first picture in the original post.

Not sure why my topic was removed in the first place. I didn't create 2 topics. I am not able to access or find the old comments. If HPA can make the old one visible that would be great. I'll look into the engine speed pin pull up once again. Thanks.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
