Hi Zac and guys , what kind of round terminal do you use for grounding points ? I'm stuck with the awful blue red yellow types we find almost everywhere (attached picture)...

Open barrel , closed barrel , insulated ?

Thanks a lot

I get those connectors cheaply, and then cut the plastic insulation off of them (usually a single cut with side cuts gets them to drop off) and use them like a closed barrel crimp.

I am also guilty of pulling the insulation off insulated ones before as Stephen suggests when I haven't got a small enough closed barrel lug.

But there are options like this:

Small: https://nz.rs-online.com/web/p/ring-terminals/0433006

Medium: https://nz.rs-online.com/web/p/ring-terminals/2082593

Large: https://nz.rs-online.com/web/p/ring-terminals/4373813

For anything bigger where im crimping say 10-15 ground wires into the same lug I move to a proper closed barrel "crimp lug".

Hi , thanks guys , much more clear now . I will check rs online here in France .

I appreciate the support here 👍

RS used to be VERY expensive, so I'd also suggest checking your local electronics and electrical shops/stores.

Farnell (?) was also a good source.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
