I would like to ask if inside all the ECU's the sensor ground is connected with the power ground and if not do i need to connect the sensor ground to battery negative or frame?

G'day Antonis.

The Sensor Ground will be connected to the Power Ground inside the ECU, but by a filtered connection to keep voltage spikes and other transients out of the sensor ground circuit. Absolutely do not connect the sensor ground pins of your ECU to the chassis or battery negative. They get connected to the ground wires of your sensors.

Hi Zac,

Thank you very much for your response.

According my aftermarket ecu's manual I should connect the ground wire to a paint free metal surface point on frame and also the sensor ground to another paint free metal surface on frame away from ground sensor.

Your opinion please?

sensor ground needs to stay away from other ground in all ways , what ecu - manual are you using ?

I'd also like to see that bit of ECU documentation? That sounds quite odd.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
