Starting to make some progress with my Wiring now (1965 Restomod F100 Truck).
My Speedo sending unit needs 12V power, in terms of where that power comes from, would it be sensible to run that from the power that feeds the gauges or a separate circuit?
The a similar question for the Fuel Sender, can I send power to the Fuel Sender from the instrument cluster?
I'm essentially assuming it's overkill to have these 2 on septate circuits?
I would power the all sensors from the same source that is using the signal -- if that is the ECU, then use it's power, if that's just the dash, then use it's power.
That's what I suspected, yea truck is remaining on a carb so will be the dash power.
I'll get some pics up when I can.
