I saw on the bundling and brandhing, and the sheathing video that for strain relief there is a zip tied added to the branches. I don't believe I have seen this in an OEM harnesses so was wondering why a zip tie instead of a diaper wrap? I am thinking you are also sort of narrowing the aperture that this branches can have and inadvertely the branch can be pinch or damaged by the tie strap if these branches are intended to go closer to 90° from the main bundle.

Hello Alexander

The cable ties are intended so that you don't damage the shrink tubing at the branches or tear out the braid or if you bend it too much.

It is not comparable to the OEM wiring harnesses as they do not use heat shrink tubing with adhesive.

I would recommend you use the cable ties like this, they provide secure support and don't get in the way
