Hi guys , I’m looking to start a thread on star point grounding as it seems that it has been in practice for some time to just use chassis ground as it is easy and readily available threw out the car ...I have just recently experienced some of the negative symptoms of not using star point grounding that have resulted in voltage drops causing intermittent problems ...I’ve did a bit of research on this grounding system and from what I understand everything needs to be grounded to the same location on the car .. weather it be the head, frame rail , firewall ,engine block etc. is that you are to pick a spot and use that spot for everything ... can some professionals chime in and lay some information on this situation to confirm this theory and maybe some examples that have been tried and tru to work properly ?
Thanks , Tom Fox
