Hey all, been struggling to identify this terminal a customer brought me. Its from a Ford mustang fuse box (coyote 5.0) era so I was guessing Molex or Yazaki but can't find anything in their catalogues and emailing them hasn't even gotten me a response yet.
See the attached pics for dimensions and photos, and let me know if its familiar to you
This is from the Motorcraft Wiring Pigtail Kit and Wiring Terminal Kit catalog:
Ford Motor Company now has Wire Terminal Repair kits available to allow replacement of damaged or
corroded terminals in a connector. This can save a customer hundreds of dollars for a complete wire harness
and the labor to install it.
There are 10 female terminal kits, 6 male terminal kits and 5 Power Distribution Box (PDB) terminal kits that
will service 65% of the terminals used on Ford vehicles today. This is accomplished by having one terminal in
a kit that can substitute for up to 10 other terminals in the vehicle.
To help identify which kit you need, Ford has started updating the Online Wiring Manual on the Ford PTS
(Professional Technician Society) website with terminal information. Not all manuals will have this information.
Here’s how it works:
• When you are looking at a wiring diagram on a 2013 or newer vehicle, click on a connector number
(C Number). It will take you to the Connector Face View page where there is a box that says “Check
for Terminal Part Numbers.”
• Click on it and it will display the Ford Engineering Part number of each terminal in the connector.
There also will be a chart that shows the terminal part number and the Service Part Number of the
Wire Terminal Repair Kit that will service that terminal.
So go get friendly with the local Ford Dealership parts guy... Parts are available.
Thanks David!
I'll have to spend some time digging in
