Hi all,
I am fixing a motorcycle loom and would like to avoid removing all the connectors to slide in a heat-shrink tubing. Is there any heat shrink warp-around tubing that is of good quality for such loom and that will allow me to just wrap around small portions of the loom and use a heater to make the whole thing tight ?
Thanks !
There seems to be several product lines that meet your requirements - haven't used any of them, though.
Several decades ago, the line guys used a type of heatshrink that was a "C" section with a locking slide that held the edges together. It was for when telephone trunk lines were spliced and was of a relatively large diameter - don't know if there's a smaller diameter version made?
