I have finally gathered up the parts for my stroker build. Ej207, 92.5mm Manley pistons, manley rods and and Ej257 sti crank.

As the crank is new do I need to check clearances or can I just put in standard size bearings? One company has told me there's no need to check whilst another says I should.

Max boost will be 32psi and its running E85, car wont be a DD. Not sure if it will play a part but I'll either use an 11mm or 12mm oil pump.

I always check clearances regardless whether the parts are new or used. Even a brand new crank still has a tolerance on all the journal sizes so it pays to ensure the clearances are where you expect them to be.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
