Can someone explain to me what is and how to measure connecting rod parallel deviation. Engine specification says that Maximum deviation in parallel of connecting rod bores with bearing shells at distance of 150mm--mm--0.04.

Any link with illustration helps as well.

Thank you in advance!

I assume they are referring to the conrod journal being parallel from side to side however that really doesn't fit when they mention a 150 mm distance which makes it sound like they're referring to a centre to centre measurement between the big end and pin end of the rod. This is measurement work however that's best left to your machinist as it requires specialist equipment.
