Discussion and questions related to the course EV Fundamentals
i involved to many ev courses and i expected much more !!! the whole course is like watching news on tv and just talking and its miss lots of practical videos to support understanding well, I can rate this 2 of 5 but I'm not disappointed
It depends what one is looking for, I look at the courses here as supplemental to previous knowledge, and to other information sources. If you're purely looking at EV, you may be better to ask if the guys, or more likely gal, can refund you, if it's not worth it to you? But before you do, have a look around, there's more to an EV than just it's power plant.
Especially this particular one because, here, there simply isn't the depth of experience, vehicles, or availability that you, in the very de-regulated US enjoy - we have quite strigent rules and regulations* that must be followed to allow vehicles to be used on the road - ESPECIALLY modified ones! It doesn't help that we've the total population of a smallish US city, and many don't have the money to spend on these vehicles.
*I can 100% understand WHY we have them, ESPECIALLY with the state of so many of your vehicles that are still on the roads, but sometimes they are 'difficult' to navigate through.
Oh, have you checked out what Edison Motors, in Canada, are doing - some VERY cool heavy truck, and some light truck, conversion projects and even ground up heavy vehicle projects for enthusiastic investors! - https://www.youtube.com/@EdisonMotors/videos They're getting a LOT of serious support from the industries, including SCANIA, who are providing the generator plants!
I think you'll find their channel, and the associated De Boss (sp?) one to be excellent viewing for Christmas - WELL recommended!
