Hey everyone,

About to join the transmission to the engine BUT I’m stuck since I don’t remember the correct flex plate orientation and don’t wanna screw anything up. Any input would help a ton. Thanks!

Hopefully someone can confirm it, but looks like the side with the blue blodge is to the crank', from the flange marks?

But you should get some idea either way by holding it up to the crank with the starter in place, and trying both ways to see what lines up best, and doing the same with it against the torque converter (with the crank bolts loosely in place) and see how it lines up either way. I would expect only one orientation to work for both.

I agree with Gord. Only one side looks like it's been machined and mounted against the crankshaft. Also, I would expect the part number to face away from the engine.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
