Hi guys I'm currently have a vvti 1JZ I'm planning on keeping the bottom end standard just wondering if anyone has seen the limitations of this stock components like Rod bolts.
If so what RPM would people recommend limiting the engine to with stock rod bolts
The engine will be running E85 and aiming for around the 650 horsepower mark so hopefully not asking too much.
650 hp on a stock 1JZ should be very achievable, particularly on a quality fuel like E85. Much like the big brother 2JZ, the 1JZ are incredibly strong in stock form. Detontaion is the usual killer of these engines when modified, however you should be relatively immune on E85.
