Hi all,

I took my Crank, Wiseco pistons (new) and Eagle rods (new) to a reputable machine shop and had it all balanced. Ill be returning to have the pulley, clutch and flywheel done separately however... When I got my items back i didn't see an indications of of which piston/rod was 1,2,3 or 4... Why would this be?

I'm going to call on Tuesday however I'm chomping at the bit to start here since its a long weekend.

Thanks,

It would be unusual to not mark the pistons during the balancing process but that's not necessarily the end of the world. Essentially each part (piston and rod) is balanced individually, so once that's done you can place the piston and rod in any cylinder. It's only once the engine has been run that we tend to keep the piston in the cylinder it came from.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
