Does bearing clearances has any effect on oil pressure ?
Yes. Running a larger clearance can decrease oil pressure, especially at idle. Increasing oil viscosity can improve oil pressure if you are running large clearances.
It's typical to match looser clearances with a heavier viscosity oil to maintain suitable oil pressure.
Or fit a higher volume oil pump.
