Hello,

I'm having issues with the AEM EGT sensors, i already fried 2 of them, they are no handling very well, i was setting up flat shift and the launch control, and with the pops of the flat shift the sensor died, so i want to know if there's any other brand of sensor that it's compatible and will perform better and last longer. the car it's a impreza intended for street but with some track/drag on the weekends

I have always had great success with sensors from https://exhaustgas.com/ They are knowledgeable and can make sensor with custom lengths / connectors. Talk to them about exposed tip vs. enclosed tip. We have always used the exposed tip, and never had any reliability issues. I have only had a mechanical failure (when I physically broke the sensor while working around the engine).

Great! thanks for your reply i'll check those sensors.

Aem uses just type k? Are you just keeping them install to self monitor data? I was under the impression it's best to just remove them after dyno and put the cap on the thread.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
