Hey guys, I'm new when it comes to engine building, so I heard the b20b Honda engine needs sleeves if you plan on going big on boost because the sleeves tend to crack. I bought some Darton MID sleeves 84mm for my little engine. So my question is how do I know that the machine shop installed them correctly, and what are some checks I need to do before taking back my engine? This is also the picture the machine shop sent me.

Unless you have the tools the machine shop has to measure, you have to trust them. If you really want a second opinion, take it to a different machine shop and ask them to measure cylinders to make sure they are within spec (bore-bore spacing, parallelism, deck height, bore: diameter, roundness, taper).

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
