Hey guys I’m putting together my closed deck EJ25 which runs a factory nitrated crank with Nitto rods and ACL bearings.
My question is about the clearances I’ve measured and any advice on what I should be aiming for, the motor will see around 450hp
So far ive measured
Mains:
0.04mm (0.0012”) across all 5
Rods:
0.03mm (0.0015”) across all 4
Do I need to be going any looser for the extra abuse the engine will receive? Or are these numbers just fine

I was expecting some of the Sub' folks to have chipped in before now.
I can't comment, but this has come up a few times before, and I'd suggest a quick search will bring up plenty of recommendations.
