hello,
at the moment i am tuning a Drift car with a 2jz engine and a syvecs ecu on 102 octane gasoline.
in the car is a syvecs S6 ecu which is the first time for me tuning a syvecs, not 100% comfortable with it yet but getting along alright i think...
the problem i am encountering is as followed, i was steady state tuning the fuel map and when i get to around 3000rpm and alittle bit of boost 1200milibars absolute or higher i encounter detonation through my plex audio detection even though im at realy conservitive timing already, i take out some more ignition timing i get the same result i put in more timing it becomes more audible and worse.
i switch my plex for my Link Knock block i also hear detonation, i check the onboard knock sensors in the datalog and it also shows traces of detonation.
eaven when i retard the timing to 10 to 5* at 3000rpm 1200milibars it gets less but still hear knock.
base timing is set correctly, checked for timing scatter which is not there its perfectly stable at higher rpms.
tested the injectors in my tester and they all flow pretty much the same, switched spark plugs aswell.
it is a realy noisy car, am i encountering false knock here or what is going on.
