Hello evryone i have my personal 17 mustang gt i just finished a set of comp mutha thumper cams the upgraded 2018 and up gt intake swap and a roush cold air kit as you can see i have added a ton of air to the motor and my car keeps going lean of coures what i am trying to find out is if there is a good way with my hp mvi2 tuner to read the factory wideband sensors thru the obd port i have an aem set up that i used in my 03 turbo yukon that i am considering installing but i really don't want to have to drill and weld an extra 02 bung on the car or try and tie the after market into factory ecm an help would be greatly appreciated I'm new to tuning fords primarily a Chevy guy
You should be able to use VCM Scanner to get data from the factory O2 sensors. I just checked the log on a similar mustang and the equivalence ratio was logged which should be the reading of the wideband sensor.
ok i will have to take a look at that i have added a bunch of the wide band paramotors to try reading and for some reason as soon as i start the car they kick out they talked about it in one of the training video's on here and i tried that with same results unfortunately i did make some adjustments to get the car to stay out of limp mode kind of guessing using st and lt fuel trims and car is better but would love to get it to read so i can make accurate adjustments thank you for your help i defiantly appreciate it
