Is there an after market plugin ECU for the 2015 wrx?
Can the M1 be used?
Stefan
The only product close to market is the Syvecs (check out their web site). This uses a wiring adapter loom. Motec have not announced a solution yet.
If you aren't already aware of it COBB and EcuTek also offer a reflash solution.
I would like to an M1 from Motec for the new WRX. Great UI, user friendly, plenty of features, live tuning, can achieve OEM drivability, etc.
From where I stand it doesn't look like it would be difficult to make one considering they have done all the hard work with the GT86/BRZ.
Will check out COBB and EcuTek.
Running the engine is the easy bit. Decoding the factory CAN bus messages and replicating these in M1 Build is the difficult part. This really requires a unique skill set that combines tuning, programming and engineering. It's not impossible but it is a complex task.
